The movie Idocracy is a documentary. Now the children's story Chicken Little is a documentary. The sky is not falling no matter how many times Barack Obama tells you it is. China produces more of the imaginary bad juju that we do. So what. It's all fake.
LOL! Yes, Idiocracy is a documentary and it's pretty funny. Sadly the first "RoboCop" movie is the real documentary of our time---capturing the depravity and insanity of future Detroit. That future has arrived---especially in Detroit. But Detroit is recovering now that it was/is in the hands of white bankruptcy judges (or was.)
They had a Chrysler 3000 SUX in that film. Today there is a Chrysler 300 and every time I see one of those, usually driven by a black person, I think about the clairvoyance of that movie. Obviously "1984" is playing out here too.
Brainpower and especially common sense is increasingly rare as people are not engaged in real, honest, useful and truly productive work. I wrote a post called They Don't Even Know From Where Their Food Comes. (https://gulfcoastcommentary.substack.com/p/they-dont-even-know-from-where-their) where I propose that lack of real/honest work (substituted by paper shuffling and financial transactions in our economically hollowed-out country) is the real source of "common sense" or "horse sense."
I'd appreciate it, if you haven't done so, have a read of that post see about giving it a better title and subtitle and I would like to re-post it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's a good post but almost nobody clicked it. I'd appreciate your opinion. I think I'm onto something there.
