hehe...literally. I've got another week back on the beach then heading to Siem Reap in Cambodia. I plan on converting my one month "ordinary" tourist visa to an annual "retirement" visa for Cambodia that would allow me to come and go. I'm told that this can be done at local travel agencies. I'll show them a "statement" of benefits from the Soc. Security admistration. I'm condident that that will be sufficient.
It's been my goal to do this in case of "severe storms" back home. Thailand is becoming like the EU in it's bureaucracy, so they've disqualified themselves. I'm doing a month at an Airbnb in Siem Reap; it's a nice little apartment and is brand new: See this link (hope it works):

I've already booked an Airbnb rental for 31 days: I plan on getting an annual retirement visa for Cambodia. I can go to a travel agent to apply at the end of my tourist visa. I'm sure it'll involve a fee, but I'll pay it.
